What is a fully funded pension plan?

what is a fully funded pension plan? i cannot seem to find any information on this either through interviews or through the internet. if you have information please enlighten me.

A fully funded pension plan is one in which the market value of plan assets is enough to cover at least 100 percent of benefits accrued by employees up to the current date.
