Pension rights.?

Does anyone know where I can find out about employee pension rights, I work for a small company ( owner and 3 employees ). I have a merchant navy pension fund but I have not put anything in it for over 20 years since I left the merchant navy, is it possible to start putting money in that again,( I still get a statement from them every year) or should my boss be doing anything about a scheme.

The link below covers most aspects of pensions.
An employer with less than 5 employees doesn't have to provide a pension although they can offer one if they wish.
You could contact your Navy pension scheme to see if you can make additional contributions but failing that you would need to go for a private pension. You should make sure anyone you go for advice on that is independent rather than tied into particular companies.
Good Luck
