How do I raise capital through my pension fund? Unless you are desperate and facing total financial ruin, don't even think about it. You can't until you retire. Then you can take 25% of the fund as tax free cash. If you are over 50, it is sometimes possible to cash-in part of your investment in return for a much reduced pension when you retire. It is not usually a very good idea, and there are usually better ways of raising cash. |
