Moving to Mexico, pensioner, 65 plus, info on medical insurance, personal taxes ,?

will I be taxed on worldwide income, uk investments etc, uk occupational pension etc

If you move to Mexico and become non resident in the UK for tax purposes, you are still liable to UK tax on any UK income received. Mexico may also wish to tax you on your worldwide income. However, there is a double taxation agreement between the UK/Mexico under which there is full releif available for pension income. If you have any governement service pensions eg armed forces, local authority, you must be a national of Mexico to get the relief. Therefore, they will remain liable to UK tax.

Private pensions and the state pension can be exempted in the UK under the agreement. See this link for the form you can use to make the claim http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/cnr/dtindividual....

If your pensions become exempt, then your personal allowance will be free to be used against any interest generated from the UK.

Not sure about health care, try the National Insurance Office for those leaving/living out of the UK 0845 915 4811.
