How can I get info regarding total distributions made by US Private Equity funds in 2004 and 2005? Just check with the issuer of the fund. So if it's Fidelity, you can check their website. If it's someone else, they can answer the question for you too. You should first contact the Institution that originally issued you the 1099 form. They can send you another one, they have to keep these records by law I believe for four years. If all else fails file a irs form 4506 and request copies of their records. |
