How can i obtain annual reports or financial statements of private equity like KKR, blackstone , PPR, Carlyle?

I need financial statements details or annual reports of private equity companies

Private equity funds are not required to file their financials publicly. If you knew a limited partner in one of the funds, you could ask them for it -- but they legally should not disclose them to you as it would violate confidentiality restrictions one typically places in ones' limited partnership agreement.

You can gain some insight into the financials of some funds by the following 2 ways:

1. Some of these funds are trying to go public and list so you'll find financial statements in their filings.

2. Go to CalPers. CalPers invests in these companies and I believe they publish some of the financial information they receive. I don't know whether you could get more information on some funds through a FOIA request. Not clear to me.
