Does anyone know how to auction your legal name off to the highest bidder? |
I am a 37 year old challenged by Cerebral Palsy needing to do so in order to raise up to 1m in seed capital for total self sufficiency from the welfare and medicaid trap. I have access to a franchise project that will help me to accomplish this. Thanks Perhaps turning to a local charitable institution would one way to get help..financially or otherwise. Many people can have one name, though....so it's going to have to be someone who is purchasing the "name" as a charitable act. I don't think you will be able to. No one can own a copyright to a name, so anyone can simply go to court and have their name changed. I can go to my neighborhood courthouse today and have my name legally changed to Brad Pitt if I wanted to. Granted, I won't be able to get a Screen Actors Guild membership card with that stage name since it is already taken. |
