Getting out of the market?

thinking about getting out of the market for awhile, as it seems to be shaky. Any ideas on a good investment that is relatively safe, and will bring in a respectable return?

unless you have mutual funds now that is what i would suggest drop down to i guess the next would be cds!!!!

You can think of the following options

Real estate
Fixed deposits
Mutual funds
Bonds
Small business etc...etc...
