10,000 visitors to your wbesite for 拢5...is this a scam?

I know there are tonnes of scam artists out there, offering the world when it comes to web advertising, but what's the deal with people who offer you 10,000 visitors for 拢5...how do they do it? I'm pretty sure sites offering this are involved in some underhanded practices, but that does not necessarily mean scam to me. What I want to know is should I risk the money and maybe jeopardize my standing in Google; is it true that you can see a return on investment with these compnaies?

Those are the guys responsible for pop ups and why the heck did i go to that page? type of marketing. For five quid? Is it worth it? I think so. All you need is one out of ten k to say hmm well i do need this, and buy something from you. Odds are good. Try it out and see what happens.
I wouldn't build the backbone of my marketing on those guys, but they'll probably get you a couple extra bucks, and they're ain't nothin wrong with that.

They just use some software to visit your site 10000 times.

It's a scam. Ignore it, because the same message will pop up next week saying you're the 10,000th visitor once more.

"If it seems too good to be true it usually is."

It's not worth it, trust me. They send garbage traffic if anything. If you want real quality traffic that will make you money, you have to learn adwords :)

It doesnt matter the price they can lower it to get more customers or raise it if too many people are interested in their servce making it too much to handle.


Best to do your own marketing the Affiliate way! Avoid paying out for someoneelse to 'bring you 10,0000 visitors!'

You are almost sure it is scam and asked here to confirm it, and it is scam just ignore.
If you want it to get done to your site you find potential SEO skilled programmers on freelance sites. Here you can outsource the job to programmers detailing your requirement. You will get the job done to your satisfaction and will only pay the money after the job done.

waste of money if your targeting uk only as 9,998 of those visitors will not be from the uk.

web traffic needs to be geo targeted to work.

10,000 visitors is a great number, but what are visitors if they are not targeted to your specific area. I don't know what the conversion rate is, but I would not invest any $ to have a whole slew of traffic. It's not traffic that counts.

Some considerations - whether your site could be overloaded from a flood of traffic that might bring next to nothing to you.

Also, would 10,000 visitors send you over any bandwidth allocation that your ISP may be providing, in which case you may have to pay them more. Could this crash your system, if too many of these thousands came at the same time?

The best marketing is targetted, whether by locality, as others have said, or customer types that you are potentially interested in. Best of all, have customers who are ready to buy your kind of products/services. And ensure that you are able to get intelligent reports about your web traffic too, covering what people are looking at, where they're from etc. Otherwise, you'll just get tons of clicks on your main page, and little else - and hopefully no site crashes or additional costs.

Keep your website working as part of your overall marketing plan, including all other forms of communication, promotion, advertising and sales.
