I have 拢 1 Million to invest in a safe way, what would be my annual return before tax?

this assumes the investment is not risky, and could be spread between savings, ISA's etc.

5% is a bit risky for a no risky investment, the best you could hope for would be about 4.5% risk free, however if you're willing to bemore adventurous you could easily get up to 10%, although it could go down 10% if you're unlucky.

50k

I think you could expect a return of about 5% or 拢50k pa

ISA's are limited to the amount you can put in, so take as much as you can with that for security with that bit, a bond of some description would be an idea, there are many out there, offshore bonds will give you better returns with guarentees. put around 10% into a managed precious metals account, ensure it is diversified though. the rest i would suggest if you want low or no risk, put into a few tracker bonds, these wont give you guarentees, but if you take a UK one, USA one and say a German one, you would be pretty well covered.
would expect returns in the region of 14% to maybe as high as 28% depending on the markets.

I know where you can invest it, and get a regular income, tax free. If you are interested in more info e-mail me sblanth1@yahoo.co.uk

If your into investing invest 拢100,000 in ten start-ups 1% each lending them 拢10,000 each. That also give you good risk managment and you should get a good return on them. You can find people seeking investment form http://www.gobignetwork.com/

But you would need to pay tax as income tax.

Would you mind help me with $30000.00USD. i need you help, please be kind of me once. please send me a eamil.thank you! my email: lishan0415@yahoo.com

The bank rate in UK has just gone up to 5% and savings accounts will soon start paying about 5.25%. Your 拢1 M should give you 拢52,500 pa.

BUT 拢10,500 tax will be deducted at source and you will have to pay another 拢3840 yourself. And if your wife leaves you for the milkman, you will have to give her half of that 拢1M.

It should be around 50,000-55,000 assuming you are leaving it in a bank in a savings account or ISA. Look around for the best deal. At present, I think ICICI bank have best rates 5.15 ( before the current increase of base rate to 5% !)
