Is anyone investing in Canadian MICs (mortgage investment corporations)?

Returns on investments are 8 - 12% and they are backed mostly by residential real estate in BC and Alberta. Why aren't people flooding to this investment?

I've never heard of them, thanks for piquing my interst.

I know Conroy's are low right now, good time to buy. PWE, HTE, and AAV pay hefty dividends. But watch out, in 2011, gov. gonna change taxes on these.

You check out Conroys I check out MIC's, deal??

This corporation might be corrupted like Enron!
I would never invest in Canadian stocks!
