What are double digits investment returns?

Ie if you make at least a 10% return on your investment.

For example if you invested $1,000 in Apple stock, and the shares increased in value to $1,100 or more. Double digit returns might also refer to compound double digit returns, which is what happens if the stock grows at a rate of more than ten percent per year for a number of years.
