40 % return on your investment??

Does it sound too good? Does anybody know of any investments that has higher returnes?

Time frame:1.5 years

Start-ups are an AWFULLY big risk.

VC's are usually part of the first and second round of funding for a company. After that, the company will start looking for investment banks to invest in them, and pay off the VC's (buy out their shares.)

However, very few companies ever make it that far - most fail within the first year, taking the VC's money with them.

While a good start-up can mean big bucks for an investor, 40% sounds way too high. Basically, if a VC firm has 1 company out of 100 actually go profitable, that's enough to make up for the other 99 investments that lost money - and STILL be considered an excellent track record.

Unless you personally are going to be putting in hundreds of thousands of dollars yourself, which is enough to get you onto the board of directors of a start-up, you won't be seeing nearly that big of a return. Maybe 5-10%? Still better than nothing, but 40% just isn't going to happen.

Sounds too good to be true. May be selling drugs or providing escort service to politicians.

Too good to be true. That level of return cannot be sustained.

it sounds like it could be illegal hee hee

Starting a business should have a higher return because of the risk involved.

Are they guarantying the return?

Anything that returns higher is by pure luck. 40% over what time frame? A few weeks or months, then yeah it probably is too good or has HUGE risk associated with it. Something that will make that in 10 years is more reasonable

Too high. Depends what investment it is though. If its stocks and stuff its too high. 15-16% would be believable.

This program pays 40% in 14 days and it is working great. I got paid so many times. I love it. here is my link. http://www.14days-hits-surf.net/?ref=275...

You know the answer.

You want it to be true.
It's highly unlikely....................
If it happened once.... it's not likely to happen again.

In short.... run away from this "opportunity".

Get out. And stay out.

That's right: $91 Trillion in derivatives, financed by 1 1/4 trillion dollars of investor assets. That's almost double the total global GDP (approx. $48 Trillion) for JP Morgan alone. Funny money. IOU's. Another $34 Trillion for CitiBank and $32 Trillion for Bank of America, each with $1 1/4 Trillion backing their bets.

As Paul Harvery would say, "And now for the rest of the story." These are very
interesting looking numbers. And very revealing. While it's true that existing
single family home sales were up 2.8% month to month-- they were down 22.9%
year to year. How does that old saw go? Figures don't lie; but liars figure?
