I would like to find an index that provides return on investment per acre in dollars?

Bequalming鈥檚 answer is terrible. I am looking for a land productivity resource. This would index productive uses for land. Ideally the resource would measure average productivities of crops (e.g. timber, grapes, corn, beans) per acre then multiply it by the commodity price per crop unit. If the resource was really good it would present in the form of return on investment (ROI)/ acre.

I don't think you can. It's illegal (in Texas) to promise profits for a real estate investment.

But you can get an appraisal.
