How will I start my product company? how will I start selling?

I have some ideas to sell, but I am not sure how I can start off. My intended clients may be small and medium business sector who wants to have IP phones in affordable price. These phones have ability to interact with customer over Internet and will be able to interact over PSTN using a gateway.
Besides infrastructure how much fund do I need to carry on the business?

I have good ideas on IP telephony and some innovative thinking on cheaper implementation of technology and some value added functionality. I want to give products and product oriented service (installation in this case). How should I start? Do I need to get a client first?

Answer the below questions.

1.How is the market for IP phones in your area? Research the area that you plan to sell in.
2.Will you install and service the phones? IP phones are not like POTS phones. Sometimes a NDT issue is not a no dial tone issue but a bandwidth issue. You will need to know the difference between a IP PBX/IP phone issue or the LEC issue.
3.If you are going to install and service get at least 100,000.00 in insurance just in case you mess something up onsite.
4.The infrastructure should be easy all you will need is at least one building big enough for a showroom and service center. Drop about 6.0 megs into the building for testing and showing off the phone systems.
5.If you know nothing about sales and service of the phones DON鈥橳 GET INTO IT!!!!
