What is considered emerging market? |
i know index fund in brazil, mexico and all of latin of america are considered emerging market? but what about canda, japan, south korea, china etc. what about sector? can someone gives some example? thx in advance. I think you have covered it very well. Canada, Japan, and Australia are not considered emerging. South Korea and Taiwan are considered emerging though I personally disagree with their being catagorized as such. China, Hong Kong, India, Viet Nam, Tailand, Eastern Europe, Russia, Turkey, Sinapore, Malasia all are emerging. South Africa is sort of half and half. That is about all I can think of. |
