The SBA even requires that applicants meet certain credit guidelines, regardless of their experience and/or training in the field that they wish to launch a business in. So.... ???

The business of lending is a dense one and should be researched properly. To get started, I suggest contacting the Small Business Administration (SBA). Entrepreneur also offers a great site dedicated to money & finance 鈥?see below for both.

Research, research, research 鈥?this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the process. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

Compared to offline businesses, the investment required to start an online business is minimal. A popular way of earning money on the internet is by providing information and services. This can be monetised by advertising or charging a subscription. You can also make money online by selling products on auction websites like eBay or through your own website. this might help!

If you have "bad credit" then (I'm sorry, but) you have already demonstrated an inability to handle money well. Why would you possibly think you could run a small business?

Even if your poor credit is a result of "unforseen circumstances", the world is awash with unexpected events, you have to know how to thrive and prosper in that environment.

I don't mean to be discouraging, but honestly, just based on your question I think even you know you would be better off getting a regular job and working hard at it.
