I have a fantastic business idea. I need a large loan, but want a partner to handle that aspect. Where do I go |
My idea involves purchasing some real estate in Nevada, near Las Vegas. I can't elaborate too much on my idea, because it is something I don't want too many others to know about at this time. I am considering a partner who has a lot of startup capital, or a partner who will assume the responsibility of getting a government business loan. I have thought of seeking a venture capitalist, or someone already well established in real estate who want to expand. Where can I go to find someone willing to start this business with me, other than traditional advertising (newspaper ads, radio, ect)? You should probably look into some Angel Investors. Have them sign a non-disclosure agreement to protect your idea. If your idea seems valid to them they will ususally invest, it they don't like it, they won't. For a small business loan you'll need to put together a business plan, check out the SBA requirements, and make sure your business would qualify. You can also get help from SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) usually for free. Then go to the Las Vegas Business Development website and see if your business idea would qualify for one of their many programs. I don't know of any "Silent Partner" shops in that area. Running away quickly because this stinks of a scam.....run .... run...run. |
