Cheapest Online Broker per trade and interest per annum.?

i've found zecco they give 10 free trades per month if your account balance(net equity) is $2500 or more maintained.
but they charge a 0.25% p.a on ur account balance.

does interactive broker $1/100 share right? also charges interest rate may i know?

can someone tell me about the online discount broker they are using. preferably low startup capital.

I use Scottrade because limit trades on stocks are $7 per trades.

Most other discount brokers have a low price for market trades, but a much higher price for the more desirable limit trades.

I also like them because they have a lot of no-load, no transaction fee mutual funds.

Because of the financial crisis hitting the world right now, I would avoid any broker that does not have a firm financial backing and stellar reputation. The risks are high. Look at E-trade which recently ran into problems. Do you really want your lifes savings here? Is there another shoe to drop?

Tradeking.com, voted #1 2006 & 2007 is what I've been using $4.95 commissions........I just saw Marsco.com come out with $3.95 but don't know much about them. I've used optionsxpress.com and tdameritrade.com, but sticking w/tradeking.com until I see something better/cheaper
