Is microsoft a good stock to buy right now? |
i got into MSFT(microsoft) on thursday for a price of $28.84. does anyone have any insight about whether this was a good investment? There are worse. Yes. They are taking over buildings and building new ones over here (Washington). I would think they are doing really well to need so much office space. MSFT will trail in an up market, but hold up well in a down market.MSFT is a good stock to own right now, but do not expect much out it. yes. Just don't panic and sell it if it drops in the next 6 months. Also, if you have the option, set it up for dividend reinvestment You'd be better off in a bank CD. At least you'd get some interest. MSFT is a huge cash cow but has no visionaries at top levels. Gates stole windows from Steve Jobs (Apple) & created MSFT. MSFT is a one trick pony ( windows) and is currently a software maintenance & packaging company. Lesson in investing, never seek advice from others as everyone has their own opinion, even the experts are usually wrong or just lucky. Do you own research, you cannot be lazy to invest in the stock market and never trust a tip. |
