How old do i need to be to buy stocks and start investment? |
Im currently 17 years old now. My state's age of majority is 18. It is not legal for you to buy stocks yet nor have them in a brokerage account unless they were done together with your parents. if You under the age of 18 you and your parents can start an account where you have control of the decisions but your aprents ahve to sign off. When you become 18 you gain full control of the account. Google Custodial Stock Account |
