Investment Banker -- A person representing a financial institution that is in the business of raising capital for corporations and municipalities. He does the grunt work for IPO, issuing bonds, etc. About 750,000 dollars. an invstment banker works for an investment bank.....they invest on clients behalf.....and with thier own money as well......invstmnt bankers deal in derivatives and all sorts.....stock brokers on the other hand deal in equities(shares)........ Stock Brokers (Humans) are being replaced by Stock Brokers (Computers) |
