What do you think about investment in Saudi Stock Market?

the saudi market had a bad year, but there is a great future, as oil prices and gov expenditure keep going higher,

no taxes on investing in saudi market nor on recieving dividend, if fact no taxes at all

high Liquidity, waiting to get in,

small market, with only few great companies, such as SABIC, and other small companines with high profit.

but the worste thing about the saudi market is that it is very very very Corrupted, brokers, banks, capital market Authority, and rich investors,

market is driven by few Individuals and being controled by their wishes, they have a morining call with each other or at the day before to decide what the market will be when trading starts, they use rumors to push people to buy or sell any stock they want, they bribe bank, broker, and capital market authority employees

so if you know any one of those few Individuals and they want to help you, you will make alot, otherwise you may make 20% year if you were lucky, (and that in saudi market terms is very low), and if you are not lucky you will loose 80% of your capital.

my Recommendation is to forget all middle east markets, because it is the market of Thieves,

Probably a good idea. The Saudis have some money, no doubt.

No doubt they do have one??? The most popular thing one hears about out of Saudi is Muslims or oil. Personally, i would look to china or south America before considering Saudi.

volatile and some how high risk. The stock market is controlled by members of royal family (immune from litigation) so it has unpredictable trend and some times illogical but it is good market if you know any of those members.
