Are 2nd trust deeds good investments?

They usually pay an intrest rate that is higher than the prime rate which is 8.25% currently. They are a very good investment as long as they are recorded as a lien against the property and not exceptionally long in term. To quote Will Rogers "Buy dirt, they ain't makin' anymore"
