Does anyone work for a venture capital company ??

Do VC companies need techno-commercial help to know how efficiently their money is being spent by the people in their start up / funded companies ?

I have seen that a lot of VC funded companies go belly up as the VC never knew that they were betting on a lost idea but no one in the start-up had guts to tell them the truth.

I doubt many VC firm employees are surfing these pages for stuff . . . . and if they are, they probably avoid questions like this one.

Most VC firms are started and/or run by super Type A people who think the are the best at what they do. So they don't really believe they need "help" . . .

Some of them do go belly up - but if you look hard at these cases, they probably made aggressive decisions and everyone knows this risk going into the deal.

Also, the VC people will deal with the start-up's Pres and CEO most of the time and the CFO too. Obviously those people have a HUGE stake in the game if the company makes it and they have a lot to lose if it doesn't. So if they're going to cover it up . . . then that makes it tougher on a VC firm. But I doubt they'd "poll" the rank and file to know the real answer . . . . and if they did . . . the CFO could probably spin an answer that would sound good and make you, the whistleblower, sound like you don't know what your talking about.

I know this sounds harsh . . . . but seriously, this is the way it works sometimes.
