****** I wanna buy townhouse in Tampa or Orlando for investment. Which is a good neighbourhood ? *****? |
I want the value to appreciate in 10 years time. Which isa good place in these two cities? Any suggestion from the folks who are familar with these places?? I think it depends on what price range you are looking in. I'm a native Orlandoan, though I'm not so familiar with the area anymore, but there are surely deals in and outside of the city. Remember, metro Orlando is projected to be larger than metro Atlanta by the year 2050, so growth should be rampant, meaning if you pick the right area, the value should go up by default, unless you are too far from downtown. my suggestion is anywhere along the beltline(greenway, western beltway, yet to be built wekiva pkwy). So that would mean like Oveido, Apopka, Sanford/Lake Mary area, etc. Heck, there is so much room on the south end, north of I-drive, that there are probably decent deals there. Closer in, if you want a good neighborhood, north of the city(Winter Park, Maitland, Altamonte Springs) is probably better than south, but south has a lot of promise because it's so underdeveloped for locals. too many to list, get a real estate agent in each city, they will be able to help with specific areas i'm not sure about those towns in paticular, i know that theres a town called Bradenton thats pretty close to tampa, that has some really nice places... my b/f's dad lives out there. Well Florida's market has dropped dramatically in the last 4 "ish" years....You could buy low now and wait....there's no telling if ten years is going to be enough though. Not familiar with Tampa, but Orlando's crime rate is also sky rocketing... Brandon or Temple Terrace. Tampa is the better choice. run away as fast as you can from RE investments right now. There are so many better things you can do with your money. If it's just for investment, you can find much better places to put your money. If you plan to live there, it's another story |
