Suppose an investment of $5000 doubles in value after six years. How much will the investment be worth after?

suppose an investment of $5000 doubles in value after six years. How much will the investment be worth after 18 years? after 42 years? Help me please! I don't understand what to do!!!! Thank you anybody who helps!

After 18 40,000. After 42 640,000 Just do 5,000 to the 3rd power, then 5,000 to the 7th power. You'll find the power by deviding the amount of years by 6 to get your powers.

IT SEEMS TO ME YOU WOULD JUST KEEP DOUBLING IT EVERY 6 YEARS.
6 years is ten thousand
12 years 20 thousand
18 years 40 thousand etc.

6= 10K ---12 = 20K = 18 = 40K 24 = 80K 30 = 160K 36 = 320K and 42 = 640K!!!!

18=6x3

42 = 6x7

if the number doubles after 6 years, the other numbers in those multiplication problems are the number of times the value has doubled. Multiply it out.

Dunno' but heck it will be a nice investment !!!
