I still have a 401k with Vanguard from the company I used to work for 2 years ago. Can I withdraw the funds? |
I am 30 years old and need the money and understand a bulk will go to taxes but I am in a bind. Am I able to cash out the 401k for whatever after taxes it will be? Yes you can withdraw money from it. Since you 30 years old, you have to understand the penalties and taxes that will come with the withdrawal. Yes, call Vanguard to start the process. Yeah, you sure can. At least you do know about the penalties. Is this the only option that you have? What have you tried before resorting to this? |
