How can one buy into a closed Vanguard fund? |
How can one buy into a closed Vanguard fund? You can't, that is why it is a closed fund. i assume u mean closed end fund...........any major bank or brokerage house................. I suggest you click on "holdings" and see the top ten stocks in the fund that you like and then buy those individual stocks in an IRA or common stock acct. @ a discount broker. Rock On. If the fund is closed the only way to buy more shares would be to wait for the fund to open again or some funds go through a "soft" close in that new investors won't be able to make purchases, but if you already own the fund you can invest more money into it. |
