How long its take to get an answer from a venture capital?

Hi, I have send my business plan to sequoia capital a month ago. But they haven't reply yet. So is it good for me that they take time or is it a bad signal for my business plan. Ihave even send a follow-up mail for a response three day ago but they haven't answer yet.
Have somebody of you have handle with sequoia capital yet. Tell me your opinion.

Hi dude... I think you should not wait for only one venture capital firm. Try out different ones, if they are taking time or ignoring you, ask them about their opinion. Why dont you speak to someone on phone? You can also contact someone like David Barnitt, one of the good financial consultants i have known. Check the link below.
