How do i go about SELLING an innovative business plan to a venture capitalist firm?i have no management team..

I prefer to sell it off or license it to the VCs and continue my education...Ive heard that if the idea has potential the firms will buy the idea, find a management team and make it a reality...

You are dreaming.
1st the VC community is very incestuous. If you are within the community and have an idea, you will get funding.
If not, you better show that your venture is throwing off cash or close to it.

Venture Capitalists want to see a working company with a cash flow.

You want "angel" investors.

Ask your friends and family, put your own money in, ask at the local Chamber of Commerce and BBB if they know any angel investors.

If you just want to sell the idea off and reap the rewards, forget it. Other people aren't interested if you're not interested enough to put yourself on the line for your idea, and that means forming and running the company until it makes money.
